925 Sterling Silver is a metal subjected to natural oxidation along time, being sensitive to humidity, air exposure and to each individual skin’s pH. To clean any tarnish, polish the piece with a soft cloth or a polishing cloth.
Gold Vermeil is subjected to appearance changes over time, being sensitive to humidity, air exposure and to the skin’s pH. After continued wear, the plating might get worn off and change its appearance. The piece can be re-plated by Oema through The Renewal Service. To clean your jewel, soak the piece in warm water mixed with dish soap for a few minutes and tap dry with a soft cloth.
Gold Vermeil
To qualify as Gold Vermeil, a piece must be made from solid Sterling Silver and coated with a Gold layer of at least 10k purity and 2.5 microns thickness.
